We are seeking a Business Development Lead to join our Flexibility team, responsible for growing participation in SPEN Flexibility markets, and supporting our overall Flexibility Market Engagement Strategy. The role involves facilitating market access for Flexibility Service Providers, managing tenders, and developing new uses of flex for the distribution network.
Requirements
- High commercial awareness with a background in ancillary balancing and services markets an advantage.
- Experience of contract management and administration from negotiation to delivery
- Strong communicator with a high degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to simplify a complex subject matter
- Ability to influence, foster and build relationships
- Experience of engaging with stakeholders and or Ofgem in a regulated environment
- Effective at leading and managing change in a complex environment and creating a culture of engagement and positivity.
- Ability to prioritise and manage a very diverse & demanding workload
