Sr. Manager of Sales Operations
This will be our foundational Sales Operations hire, who will focus on driving efficiencies and streamlining processes within our sales, marketing, and customer success teams. We are searching for a high energy, collaborative and experienced leader to effectively build, manage and scale the function. You should have 4+ years of sales operations, sales enablement, or marketing operations experience, preferably within hyper growth, fast-paced and fun environments. We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial, roll-up your sleeves and results-driven mindset in order to drive successful optimization of our GTM functions.
The ideal candidate will be able to learn and grow quickly by understanding our current setup—a foundation of tools, reporting, insights— and help support them to unlock business needs.
This role will report directly to our COO, but also work closely with sales, marketing and customer success teams to implement efficiencies that will make the company work better as a whole, by measuring and analyzing the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives as they relate to the overall company’s goals.
Responsibilities
- Partner with our sales team to develop processes to improve inbound lead flow, qualification and follow-up; identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies that slow down conversion
- Analyze sales and marketing data to develop data-driven insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization; help to reduce time spent on administrative tasks
- Work in close partnership with Head of Marketing to execute strategies and set up marketing automations within HubSpot; ensure accurate tracking is implemented
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation on our go-to-market operations
- Develop and maintain metrics on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact; gain insights into performance trends and areas for improvement
- Create reports and dashboards with appropriate cadence for leadership and other stakeholders while ensuring use of consistent sales KPI definitions across the company
- Create sales collateral based on insights and learnings
- Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and enhance sales productivity
- Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management
- Support various HubSpot-based needs of the sales team, providing technical assistance with templates, automations, lists, scheduling tools, and more as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Expert-level HubSpot user: extensive experience in utilizing HubSpot’s tools and methodologies to drive business growth
- Understanding of CRM applications and marketing automation systems and integrating those systems with other technologies
- Advanced Excel and SQL skills
- Comfort with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
- An innate drive to innovate and optimize the use of available resources
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand high-level sales strategies, translate them into system and process requirements, and ensure execution
- Outstanding communication skills
