Informa TechTarget is seeking a detail-oriented, legal-minded person to join our Deal Desk and Order Management department in the position of Deal Desk Specialist. The role involves reviewing contracts for customers at the pre-sale stage of their proposals, managing the contract process from signed contract to order creation, and ensuring compliance with company standards.

Requirements

  • Serve as a strategic and tactical business partner to Sales team to facilitate deals
  • Ensure proper order documentation and terms before system entry and order approval
  • Review and approve client-generated SOWs, PO’s and IOs to support sale of media and related products to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Ability to develop a thorough understanding of processes, product offerings, and appropriate terms and conditions
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with different internal teams involved in the campaign lifecycle
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 1 to 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of contracts management and commercial contracts review/support
  • Ability to organize and solve requests in a queue
  • Detail-oriented and extremely reliable – team player
  • Possesses a sense of urgency as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Accurate data entry skills, problem solving ability
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently
