Senior Data Analyst, External Reporting – 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

ING Australia is seeking a Senior Data Analyst – External Reporting to join their Finance team in Sydney on a 6 month fixed term contract. The role involves ensuring external and prudential reports are accurate, compliant, and future ready, and requires technical expertise with regulatory interpretation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Actuarial Studies, or a related discipline with a strong analytical or numerical focus
• 5+ years’ experience in financial services, ideally in external, regulatory, or prudential reporting roles
• Strong technical skills in MS SQL Server, SSIS, and Visual Studio, with proven experience reviewing complex codebases
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into robust technical and reporting solutions
• Excellent analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to clearly explain technical and regulatory concepts
