The Role You’ll Play:

The Manager of Sales Operations and Enablement will help build and scale our revenue operations and enablement team and drive an impact at Intersystems. You will help design the strategy, build out our analytics and tech stack, and optimize our go-to-market organization for Sales while partnering with Marketing.

You will be a critical leader in our go-to-market organization – reporting to our VP of North American Sales and partnering with leadership and teams across Marketing, Customer Adoption, Sales, Finance and Product to drive step-change revenue outcomes and impact.

You will help us innovate data-driven approaches to growth, lead your own team, and launch strategic projects to drive revenue at Intersystems.

What You’ll Do:

  • Driving improvement of business processes, leveraging Sales and Marketing systems to drive growth and scale
  • Improve and refine workflows within Pega and other platforms to ensure we are getting the maximum value out of the tools while meeting users’ needs
  • Driving requirements and collaborating on the build out of key systems to support operational execution and future growth.
  • Working closely with our sales and marketing teams to drive value with Deal movement, updates and advise management with insights to guide the sales team
  • Collaborating cross-functionally, adding value to the sales organization to increase impact
  • Developing proactive analyses, rooted in data, that provide actionable insights
  • Organizing data and utilizing it to enhance platform effectiveness
  • Assisting with key sales planning activities during QBRs, planning and budgeting cycle
  • Providing ad-hoc analysis as required to aid management decision making
  • Guiding Change Management and Enablement (especially from a systems and process perspective)
  • Support sales and marketing with regards to territory and staffing design, commission plans, quota setting, onboarding, training and enablement, campaign performance and data management
  • Establish ‘guard rails’ and approval processes for deal structure and discounts
  • Coordinate with legal and finance on processes to optimize sales effectiveness
  • Establish culture of continuous improvement via strong sales enablement function (training and on-boarding programs; best practices; etc.)

Who you are:

  • 5-7 years of progressive responsibility in Sales, Revenue, Marketing or Business Operations, preferably at a high-tech or Software Company.
  • 2-3 years of experience in finance
  • Someone who can be hands on and lead the development of the organization as we continue to grow
  • Experience with CRM and Sales acceleration systems as well as advance knowledge of Excel and familiarity with SQL
  • BA/BS degree in business or related, quantitative field.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with strong business judgment and ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner
  • In-depth understanding of Sales and Marketing processes and systems (sales cycles, account, territory, opportunity, pipeline management, Deal velocity)
  • Results oriented, with attention to detail and can prioritize multiple objectives and projects
  • Have a successful track record of working at all levels of management and sales teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong commitment to working as part of a dynamic team
  • Desire to learn and be challenged, self-driven and motivated
