Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of working with databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, OGC SQL/PostGIS, BigQuery) and scaling data platforms
- Experience working with ETL/ELT processes and data integration tools
- Extensive experience in Python development and master libraries like Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, Pandera, or pytest
- Practical experience with Cloud Platform services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for deploying and managing data solutions – ideally with the Google Cloud Platform
- Practical experience with automation and workflow orchestration tools like Airflow and dbt, as well as data quality testing and data observability tools like DataKitchen
- Practical experience with VCS and CI/CD, e.g., with Git, GitLab, or GitHub
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
