As a Merchandising Data Scientist, you will build predictive and prescriptive models that improve merchandising decisions. You will partner closely with product, application, and data teams to ensure models are reliable, explainable, and deliver measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • Contribute to the planning and scoping of new model development to meet merchandising objectives.
  • Work with senior data scientists to implement new solutions to merchandising use cases.
  • Support exploratory analysis, data preparation, and testing activities.
  • Improve existing merchandising models through model and feature refinement.
  • Retrain models on updated datasets and ensure retraining pipelines remain effective.
  • Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and diagnostic techniques.
  • Monitor production models for drift, stability issues, and commercial relevance.
  • Document models, processes, and experiment results to maintain transparency and reproducibility.
