Senior Data Engineer, Marketing Operations

Root is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join its Data Platform team to drive marketing operations, finance, analytics, and data science enablement. The role involves guiding technical implementations, supporting marketing and data science workflows, and defining the strategy and roadmap for the domain.

Requirements

• 4+ years as a software engineer
• Expertise in Python, Terraform, SQL, and Spark
• Expertise in Cloud Architecture – AWS Preferred
• Expertise in Machine Learning Operations (Preferred)
• Expertise in Data Driven Marketing (Preferred)
• Proven leadership of projects involving multiple teams across functional domains
• Excellent communication skills both with engineering colleagues and senior business leaders
