About The Role
Seeking a copywriter to join our team part-time. Closely partnering with the Marketing Manager and VP of Product, this position will be responsible for writing and editing high-quality product marketing copy across all consumer touch points.
This position will create and edit written content across various channels including email, Journey’s platform (web and app), and sales and customer success collateral. You should have a portfolio with a range of work samples, as well as strong collaboration and a high bar for quality to successfully deliver results in this role. Experience with product marketing and mental health is preferred. Being a good human is mandatory 🙂
In this job, you will:
- Work cross-functionally to deliver clear and differentiated copy and messaging needs across channels, building a strong emotional connection with the Journey customer and reinforcing brand equity.
- Support concept and execution of any/all copy materials (video, print, collateral, social media, e-commerce, retail) for campaign or product launches
- Execute blog editorial strategy and organic content
- Serve as a key guardian of the Journey brand to ensure consistency of brand voice across all consumer touchpoints and assets; Help to evolve brand voice and copy best practices.
- Balance brand/creative and business goals—ensure all copy captures Journey’s creative voice while delivering on business goals and channel-specific best practices.
- Support proofreading and fact-checking process.
Requirements
- You are a creative, resourceful, and natural storyteller who can move easily between mediums.
- Conceptual thinking and strong writing skills are a must.
- Speed: Ability to write/refresh multiple articles per day, sometimes with a quick turnaround time
- Quality: Experience adhering to an in-house style guide; Excellent knowledge of proper grammar and punctuation. Attention to detail, recognizing inconsistencies in wording as well as data.
