So, what’s the role?
As a Revenue Operations CRM Lead at Kin, you’ll be at the center of our revenue and customer experience strategy—building and optimizing the tools that help us grow smarter and serve customers better.
You’ll lead the implementation and ongoing management of a brand-new CRM platform, working closely with sales, underwriting, and service teams to unlock efficiencies, streamline workflows, and improve visibility into performance. Your work will directly impact how Kin scales operations and delivers exceptional customer experiences.
Who you are & what you bring
- You’ve been a CRM administrator or operator in a high-volume B2C environment, and you understand the critical role CRM systems play in driving both growth and service excellence. You’ve helped lead (or been second-in-command on) a major CRM implementation or migration—bonus points if that experience involved HubSpot specifically.
- You’re deeply comfortable with HubSpot’s SalesHub, ServiceHub, and MarketingHub, and you know CRM best practices inside and out. Maybe you’ve even picked up HubSpot certifications along the way or explored AI agents in CRMs to drive more efficiency.
- You’re an expert at building workflows and automations that make sales agents more effective and customer interactions more seamless. You’re technical enough to translate business requirements into clean, scalable CRM solutions—and if you have familiarity with SQL or other database languages, even better.
- You’re a strong communicator and trainer, able to support users across varying technical levels, and you’re comfortable collaborating with teams like Sales, Customer Service, Underwriting, Product, and Revenue Operations.
- You thrive in environments where you can move quickly, build iteratively, and drive real change. Experience in a high-growth startup environment is a plus, but not required—you learn fast and adapt even faster.
A day in the life could include:
- Developing and launching new workflows and automations to improve sales effectiveness and service quality
- Creating and maintaining dashboards and reports to track CRM usage and business performance
- Managing HubSpot user accounts, permissions, and security settings
- Troubleshooting CRM issues like ticket routing or workflow errors across multiple departments
- Conducting training sessions and building documentation for new CRM users
- Collaborating with teams across Sales, Customer Service, Underwriting, Product, and Revenue Operations to identify and deliver new CRM features or integrations
🚨 Why this role may not be a fit for you 🚨
We move fast, iterate constantly, and expect high ownership. This role won’t be the right fit for everyone—and that’s okay. Please read carefully before applying:
This might not be the job for you if:
- You’re looking for a fully mature CRM environment. We’re still building and refining.
- You’re uncomfortable working cross-functionally across multiple departments and priorities.
- You prefer very rigid structures or slow implementation timelines. We prioritize impact and speed over perfection.
- You need others to define every task. We’re looking for a self-starter who proactively identifies gaps and opportunities.
- You’re unfamiliar or uncomfortable with HubSpot as a core platform.
Oh, and don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!
We offer a comprehensive benefits program, allowing you to choose the benefits that are best for you and your family including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Disability Insurance options, an Employee Assistance Program, as well as elective voluntary benefits such as accident insurance, hospital indemnity, critical illness, legal assistance and pet insurance.
In addition to these benefits, we also are excited to offer the following:
- Competitive salary and equity
- 401K with a company match of up to 4%
- Flexible PTO for exempt employees, along with 8 company-observed holidays
- A paid parental leave program that provides 100% salary continuation of up to 14 weeks for birthing parents and 8 weeks for non-birthing parents
- Continuing education and professional development opportunities
Kin will accept applications for the role until May 26th, 2025.
