Klaviyo is seeking a Sr. Solutions Engineer to lead technical strategy in high-complexity Enterprise deals. The ideal candidate will have deep technical mastery, strategic thinking, and the ability to own the most complex deals. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be a trusted advisor to both customers and the sales organization, leading technical strategy, owning solution design, and setting the standard for SE excellence through your work.
Requirements
- 4+ years in Solutions Engineering or Pre-Sales
- 4+ years leading technical strategy in high-complexity Enterprise deals (6-7 figures) with minimal oversight
- 4+ years across modern development stacks: Python, JavaScript frameworks (Node.js, React), RESTful APIs, SQL, mobile development exposure
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Codex, Claude Code) and emerging patterns like MCP
- Strong domain knowledge in marketing automation, CDPs, eCommerce systems, analytics, or data engineering
- Advanced discovery and requirements gathering skills – navigating multi-layered stakeholder environments
- Executive presence and exceptional communication – impressing prospects from executive to developer level
- Demonstrated ability to handle challenging conversations, manage objections, and deliver strategic insights
