Backed by key investors, government support, and potential partnerships with MAG 7, they are targeting £10M+ in revenue within the first year. This is a high-impact leadership role for a results-driven professional ready to build and scale their revenue engine from the ground up.
The Role
My client is seeking an exceptional Head of Revenue to lead all revenue-generating functions, including Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. Reporting directly to the Director of Revenue & Business Growth, this individual will be responsible for driving aggressive revenue growth, executing go-to-market strategies, and scaling the team to achieve national expansion.
This is a high-ownership role with a clear path to equity participation. Given their current stage, the ideal candidate must be comfortable operating in an early-stage, fast-moving startup environment with a focus on rapid execution.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Leadership & P&L Ownership
- Develop and execute a scalable revenue strategy spanning multiple channels—digital, offline, partnerships, and enterprise.
- Own and optimise all revenue streams: subscriptions, upsells, enterprise deals, sponsored products, and partnerships.
- Lead pricing, packaging, and monetisation strategies to maximise profitability.
- Ensure alignment of sales, marketing, and business development to deliver unified revenue outcomes.
Building & Leading High-Performance Teams
- Hire, mentor, and lead a cross-functional commercial team, including:
- Head of Sales – covering online, offline, enterprise, and partnership sales.
- Head of Marketing – overseeing brand strategy, digital, offline, PR, and lead generation.
- Head of Business Development – managing strategic, channel, and franchise partnerships.
- Regional & Territory Managers – driving local sales and marketing execution.
- Establish KPIs, OKRs, and performance tracking across all revenue-generating functions.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on execution, accountability, and growth.
Scaling Revenue from £0 to £10M+ in Year One
- Execute national go-to-market strategy, focusing initially on London before expanding across the UK.
- Drive rapid merchant and B2C customer acquisition through multi-channel marketing and sales initiatives.
- Optimize regional and territory-based sales operations to ensure high activation and conversion rates.
- Leverage government partnerships to accelerate adoption and growth.
Performance & Data-Driven Execution
- Implement CRM, analytics, and revenue forecasting tools to track performance and inform strategic decisions.
- Provide regular revenue reports and updates to the investors and board.
- Ensure investor readiness by maintaining transparent ROI metrics and scalable growth models.
What My Client is Looking For
- Proven experience in scaling revenue from startup to £M+ with full P&L ownership.
- 5+ years of senior leadership in revenue, growth, or commercial roles within tech, SaaS, marketplaces, or e-commerce.
- Deep understanding of subscription, enterprise, and multi-sided marketplace models.
- Strong expertise in sales, marketing, partnerships, and regional expansion strategies.
- High emotional intelligence to engage across board-level, investors, and internal teams.
- Hands-on, execution-driven leadership style—comfortable operating in an early-stage startup environment.
