Overview

The Regional Marketing & Sales Director leads strategic marketing and sales initiatives across a portfolio of senior living communities, driving brand awareness, occupancy growth, and revenue performance. Partnering closely with Operations and Community Executive Directors, this role builds high performing teams and implements innovative strategies to exceed sales goals across independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities.

In addition to delivering results, this role mentors regional sales teams and supports key initiatives including new community onboarding, special projects, and portfolio growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Management responsibilities could include Sales Specialists, Regional Directors of Marketing and Sales or Regional Managers of Marketing and Sales.
  • Work closely with the Directors of Operation Management, Executive Directors, community-level Marketing and Sales teams, and advertising partners in the development and execution of overarching strategic marketing plans and tactical plans for occupancy development (all levels of care) for assigned top priority communities.
  • Make timely and appropriate recommendations for ongoing education and training for new and existing staff members.
  • Provide follow-up reinforcement of training techniques with periodic performance evaluation and recommendations offered as necessary.
  • Assist Directors of Operations Management and Executive Director(s) in recruitment, selection, onboarding and training of community-based marketing, sales and outreach personnel.
  • Provide budgeting recommendations relating to sales, closings, attrition, occupancy and marketing and sales expenses in collaboration with Director of Operations Management and Life Care Services Community Finance.
  • Utilize and/or recommend LCS resources, systems and ancillary business lines appropriately to support optimal strategic direction, fiscal responsibility, and data-driven performance results.
  • Interact positively with board/owner clients as required representing LCS Senior Living Marketing and Sales Leadership. This may include board/owner meetings, strategic planning events, LCS home office client visits, and other client focused events.
  • Participation in and leadership of business meetings, conferences, corporate events.

What We’re Looking For

  • Demonstrated proficiency in CRM utilization, reporting, and data analysis – preferably Life Care Services Salesforce system.
  • Technical skills can best be acquired through a combination of a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of multi-community marketing/sales experience in senior housing, preferably at a Life Care Services-managed or owned community.
  • Experience in recruiting, training, supervising and motivating marketing, sales and outreach staff.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, vendors, all community and corporate staff, and owner/boards.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating environment, Microsoft Office Suite, and e-mail programs.
  • Extensive experience in and knowledge of sales and marketing techniques with demonstrated proficiency in driving sales and marketing results.
