Data Engineer

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Competence Center Data & AI, where you will work on making data readily available for our organization regarding animal welfare, rations, grazing, reproduction, and robotic performance. You will be working with a team of Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Analysts, and will be responsible for building scalable and reliable data pipelines.

Requirements

• More than 2 years in data engineering or computer science related work
• Making scalable and maintainable applications & understandable frameworks
• Distributed systems: cloud computing, cluster computing
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code principles (preferably OpenTofu or Terraform)
• Python (required), In the cloud, we use Python to build data pipelines
• In-depth knowledge of data APIs for specific cloud provider (preferably Azure)
• Familiarity with Databricks (PySpark) is a plus
• Good communication skills
