LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking a Business Development Manager II to identify, engage, and convert new clients across the legal fraternity and corporates. The role involves proactively identifying business opportunities, conducting solution-based sales engagements, and tailoring product packages to meet client needs.
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in business development, solution selling, or B2B sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in commission-driven environments
- Experience in industries such as software, insurance, telecoms, legal tech, risk/compliance, or subscription-based services
- Strong business acumen with the ability to engage confidently with senior executives, partners, and decision-makers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently without close supervision
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Degree in Law or Business is advantageous, but not essential; ability to grasp legal/technical solutions is key
- Be proficient in CRM software and other relevant AI tools for managing customer accounts, leads, opportunities and sales activities
