Specialist, Outbound Sales Strategy

As a Specialist, Outbound Sales Strategy, you will be reporting to the Global Outbound Sales Manager to help grow the Outbound & Field Sales motion at Lightspeed. You will be responsible for defining the strategy for our global Outbound Hospitality and Retail teams in NOAM, APAC & EMEA. Your day-to-day will include working with SDR and AE Managers to bring in new business. Lightspeed’s Outbound team is in hyper-growth mode, now is the time to expand our team and our reach.

PS: You are required to work from the Montreal office on a hybrid basis.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Forming the global playbook for Outbound & Field Sales at Lightspeed
  • Analyzing and reporting on sales numbers, identifying issues and trends
  • Working closely with key stakeholders in the business to push the outbound motion
  • Source and use the best tools to support our global Outbound & Field Sales Teams
  • Stay on top of industry trends and advise the global teams accordingly
  • Implement an Account-Based Sales & Marketing strategy to target our most lucrative prospects

What you need to bring:

  • Strategic mindset & long term vision for Outbound at Lightspeed
  • Minimum 2 years experience leading Outbound AND/OR Field Sales teams
  • A true passion for Outbound Sales and working with SMB’s
  • Strong understanding of unit economics, CAC and payback periods
  • Ability to work cross functionally with key teams and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as SalesForce
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools; ability to generate and present comprehensive reports on sales performance
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English

Even Better if you have:

  • Experience within the Hospitality or Retail industry is a plus
  • Fluency in French
