Senior Data Scientist

Role Overview

We are seeking Data Science consultants with a strong technical background to work on leading-edge technology projects with our clients. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for customised end-to-end solutions in the field of data science that cover the entire project cycle at the customer. You will identify and analyse problem solutions, propose and discuss effective solutions, and develop state-of-the-art algorithms.

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include developing state-of-the-art algorithms, implementing them, and automating workflows in an agile environment. You will also stay up to date on the cutting edge of technology and work together with market-leading technology companies.

Requirements

• completed studies in computer science, mathematics, physics or comparable
• solid experience with Python, JavaScript or Java
• excellent software engineering skills
• sound knowledge of machine learning and statistics
• knowledge of cloud services from AWS or Azure, or alternatively experience with on-premise deployment
• experience in prioritising customer needs and creating solutions or applications which bring business value
• experience with agile development concepts like Scrum
• excellent German skills, good English skills, and willingness to travel if required by the project
