Job Description

This role can be performed remotely anywhere within the United States.

Role Summary:

As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, ensuring their satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through effective account management and upselling opportunities. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with internal teams to deliver successful Salesforce consulting projects. Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in order to foster long-term partnerships
  • Understand clients’ business needs, goals, and challenges to provide tailored solutions and support
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying upselling opportunities within existing client accounts
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of projects
  • Coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to meet client deadlines and expectations
  • Effectively communicate and negotiate with clients, presenting solutions and addressing any concerns or issues that arise
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance and insights based on Salesforce products and industry best practices
  • Track and analyze account performance, sales metrics, and client satisfaction levels
  • Continuously stay updated on Salesforce products, services, and industry trends to provide relevant recommendations to clients
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies within the account management function
  • Work closely with the sales team to support new business development efforts by providing insights, contributing to proposals, and participating in client presentations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including consultants, developers, and project managers, to ensure successful project implementation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in CRM systems

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of sales experience spanning SMB to Enterprise clients, with proven success selling into large Enterprise accounts
  • 3+ years of experience in a consulting environment
  • Prior experience working at Salesforce or for a Salesforce partner
  • Proven track record as an Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, Sales Representative, or similar role in the SaaS industry selling end-to-end implementations
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce products, services, and ecosystem
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and negotiate with clients
  • Proven storytelling abilities
  • Project management skills, with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand client requirements and propose effective solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant)

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 – $130,000, which is inclusive of bonus/commission and other benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by factors such as expertise and fit for the role and organization. Within this salary range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
