MLB is seeking seasonal personnel for a hybrid role, scoring Complex League games and relaying play-by-play digitally. The role requires regular onsite attendance at the ballpark and knowledge of the Official Baseball Rules.
Requirements
- Availability to work at a ballpark, most games starting between 10am-12pm ET Monday-Saturday
- Collect rosters and other applicable information
- Keep a detailed scorecard of the game
- Make all necessary scoring and pitching decisions
- Coordinate with MLB Data Operations via Slack
- Participation in seasonal training when necessary and reasonably required
- Routine day-to-day correspondence via email, Slack, voice call and/or text message
