Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to drive sales strategies and initiatives of the company throughout the US. This hands-on position requires a desire and ability to work as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, as well as the demonstration of a high degree of flexibility, creativity, and initiative applied to the various duties and aspects of the position.

What You Will Do

Make customer contacts, develop application of products and services, research customer needs, determine market strategies, develop and deliver sales presentations, close sales, and participate in sales forecasting, sales planning, and CRM.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Food Science, technical or business discipline
  • Minimum 7-10 years in a sales role in the flavor or food ingredient industries
  • Technical knowledge of sweetener formulation
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills
  • Organization and use of CRM database systems
  • Proficient in use of e-mail, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel programs
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills, well developed presentation skills, excellent customer relations skills
  • In-depth knowledge of target market industries
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
  • Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills
