The Data Analyst Intern will support data-driven decision-making initiatives by assisting with data collection, analysis, and reporting activities in the Risk Adjustment department. The role provides hands-on experience working with large datasets and analytics tools, and contributing to projects that inform operational and strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Must be a current student enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program in Information Systems Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field;
- Must be available to work full-time, 40 hours a week, for a minimum of 12 weeks;
- Prior experience with data analysis projects (academic or internship) is a plus;
- Familiarity with SQL, Excel, and at least one programming language such as Python or SAS;
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and effective written and verbal communication skills;
- Demonstrated eagerness to learn and collaborate in a team-oriented environment;
- Must be able to commute to the Washington, D.C. regional office as needed;
- Must provide documentation of the Covid vaccine 2-dose series (or J&J 1-dose) prior to October 1, 2023, or documentation for 1-dose of the most current Covid vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) as a condition of employment;
- Must provide documentation for the influenza vaccine as a condition of employment;
