Objective of the Business Operations / RevOps Role
Business Operations, also called RevOps, is a new discipline spanning people, process, and technology at the service of revenue generation and growth. This discipline supports the deployment of business solutions (for Marketing, Sales, and Customer Service teams) and continuous improvement of practices on these tools.
A Business Operations – RevOps Consultant at Markentive supports clients on these key principles:
- Identify team needs in terms of data, tools, and processes to achieve business objectives
- Advise and integrate the right tools, support adoption of new business processes
- Support teams in mastering tools and change management to quickly achieve objectives and maximize ROI
- Support teams in developing new use cases, processes, and campaigns to achieve business objectives
Consultant Missions – Business Operations / Sales Operations at Markentive
- Be responsible for customer growth through deployment or revamp of CRM Sales / Marketing / Customer Service solutions or others
- Be or become an expert in HubSpot CRM / Sales solution deployment
- Be or become an expert in HubSpot Marketing solution deployment
- Be or become an expert in HubSpot Service solution deployment
- Be or become an expert in business solutions integrated with CRM tools like HubSpot (document management solutions, telephony, project management, resource management, etc.)
- Implement advanced integrations between third-party tools and database tools (HubSpot, billing, ticketing, proprietary tools, etc.) in collaboration with API developers
- Lead tool benchmarking sessions and workshops on sales / marketing processes and data with senior stakeholders (CEOs, CMOs, Heads of Sales, CIOs, etc.)
- Make process recommendations and produce documentation, deployment plans, user guides and other deliverables to support tool deployment
- Concretely implement recommended solutions with other team members
- Ensure training and adoption of proposed technologies
- For already-equipped clients, continuously support improvements in configurations, report building, integration of new tools, etc.
- Participate in Markentive activities, retrospectives, internal learning, and achievement of OKRs
- Comply with all information security and data protection rules
Projects are typically conducted in pairs or larger teams and last 3 to 6 months on average. You will work with a wide variety of organizations (B2C, B2B, retail, industrial, software) and stakeholders (CEO, CMO, Head of Sales).

Profile Sought
We are looking for motivated and autonomous profiles eager to progress quickly in a demanding and exciting environment:
- You have worked for at least 3 consecutive years in relation to our areas of expertise or as a consultant: CRM / Sales Operations / Revenue Operations / Marketing Automation (or previous experiences of at least 5 years as sales ops, CRM manager, marketing ops on technology involving customer data)
- You wish to join a young and ambitious work environment
- You are naturally curious and solution-oriented (you like understanding things)
- You are proactive and challenges stimulate you
- You are not afraid to exchange with decision-makers and defend your ideas (CMO, CEO, Head of Sales, CIO)
- You have knowledge of the reality of sales, marketing, and/or customer service professions
- You understand the challenges and impact of customer data, and you are precise and rigorous
- You have great listening capacity and can anticipate needs
- You are very organized, dynamic, and results-oriented
- You know the consulting profession and its challenges
- Professional English expected (we work on projects with international scope and English-speaking clients)
- Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, MS Dynamics or equivalent tools is a must
Note: HubSpot is not a technically complex solution and we will teach you to use it (or master it even better). Your personality and your understanding of processes to implement will make all the difference. You are pragmatic, adaptable, have excellent listening skills, and quickly find THE best solution.
