Marketing Assistant & Digital Specialist

Geneseo, Illinois, Central Bank Illinois, headquartered in Geneseo, Illinois is seeking a candidate for the position of Marketing Assistant / Digital Specialist to be located in the company’s Geneseo market area.  This position assists the Marketing Officer with the development and implementation of the bank’s brand through advertising, promotions, social media activity, community events and business development across all markets. This is an “in-person” position and not remote or hybrid.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities

Assists in the release of new products, including the development and distribution of marketing material to all bank markets.
Responsible for researching and developing digital marketing solutions and enhancements.
Responsible for planning, creating and implementing digital marketing campaigns or online advertising, with direction and assistance from the Marketing Officer.
Researches, writes and edits social media optimized posts for various audiences.
Responsible for identifying analytics, results and performance indicators to develop, execute and expand the bank’s digital footprint. Monitor social media content gauging reaction to posts and adjust imagery and messaging when appropriate.
Responsible for creating and writing content for appropriate digital format.
Create and manage the bank’s social media content calendar.
Serves as administrator for the bank’s social media channels, including the bank’s website.
Assists with direct mail campaigns.
Coordinate and prepares/assists in the design of advertisements.
Assists in creation of press releases and coordinates photo opportunities.
Outside vendor contact for promotional items; orders and distributes to bank markets.
Assists the Marketing Officer with planning and facilitating of bank sponsored community events, including at the Central Bank Pavilion in Geneseo.
Represents the bank at events, open houses, trade shows, etc… Must be able to spend time outside of normal working hours and travel to other bank markets as requested.
Assists the Marketing Officer with business development directives.  Includes onboarding and report generation.
Responsible for maintaining the bank’s marketing file for compliance and regulatory purposes.
Qualified candidates must have a strong attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, strong organization skills, the ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines and possess above average verbal and written communication skills.
The individual must have demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Content Management System (CMS), Google Analytics and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign and Premier Pro).  They should be proficient in platform administration for LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, etc… Finally, the successful candidate must understand database-marketing strategies such as Search Engine Optimization, Search Engine Marketing and web marketing metrics.  Annual Incentive Opportunity
