Memo was created with the idea that earned media is incredibly valuable, but it doesn’t get the credit it deserves from a metrics perspective. For the first time, Memo enables access to actual readership data at the article level, direct from publishers, to empower storytellers.
By uncovering exactly how many people have read articles about their brand and competitors, PR and communications practitioners can better measure the impact and reach of their work and confidently guide the C-Suite on business strategy. Brands like Walmart, Samsung, Google, Taylor Made, MLB, Keurig Dr. Pepper, and others trust Memo to help them more accurately measure readership and optimize their efforts.
Memo was founded in 2018 to bring true insights to an industry that has spent decades relying on metrics like impressions and sheer article volume that don’t measure actual performance or readership.
Investors include Flex Capital, Founder Collective, Susa Ventures, MHS Capital, former founder and CEO of Moat Jonah Goodhard, and former Chief Digital Officer of Meredith Matt Minoff. Memo has been featured in Axios, Wall Street Journal, Business Insider, PRWeek, among others.
The leadership team includes seasoned executives who are focused on building a stable foundation designed to scale, judicious burn management, and a people-first culture.
