Mercor is hiring a Financial Analyst as a contractor to work on AI model performance evaluation and financial problem sets. The role requires a PhD in Accounting, CPA, or relevant experience and skills in financial accounting, managerial accounting, audit, tax, and assurance.

Requirements

• PhD in Accounting
• CPA with 3+ years audit, tax, or advisory experience
• BA/BS in Accounting with 5+ years applied accounting, audit, or controllership experience
• Working fluency in at least two of: financial accounting, managerial accounting, audit, tax, assurance
• Comfortable reading and interpreting financial statements, reconciliation schedules, and ledger entries
• Clear technical writing skills
