As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you leverage AI to initiate first contacts with potential customers, making a key contribution to our growth. You identify and qualify leads, build a scalable process to create initial touchpoints, and pave the way for our Account Executives. In doing so, you work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams, contribute your own ideas for lead generation, and strengthen meshcloud’s presence in the market.
What You’ll do:
- Develop messaging, conduct A/B testing, and set up campaigns to generate new leads
- Identify and approach potential customers (outbound and inbound) at scale
- Cold calling, email marketing, LinkedIn outreach
- Qualify leads and conduct initial needs assessment in conversations with IT decision-makers and platform engineers
- Schedule and coordinate initial meetings for our Account Executive team
- Automate research of companies, target audiences, and contact persons in our target markets
- Use tools such as LinkedIn, HubSpot, Relay, and other channels for outreach
- Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop aligned go-to-market campaigns
Must Haves
- You already have initial experience in SaaS B2B sales – e.g., as a BDR, SDR, or in a comparable role
- You enjoy actively reaching out to people and can engage potential customers with your communicative skills – in both German and English
- You work in a structured, independent way and maintain an overview even when managing multiple leads
- You have a basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and SaaS solutions
- You have experience in using AI tools
Nice-to-haves
- Ideally, you already have an IT background from your studies or professional experience
- Experience with cloud infrastructure or other cloud-native technologies
- A personal network within enterprise IT
