Meta is seeking a Data Scientist to contribute to the design and development of Meta products by collecting, organizing, interpreting, and summarizing statistical data. The ideal candidate will have expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data, as well as experience working with large and complex data sets to solve challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Sciences, or a related field
- 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
- Experience with data querying languages, scripting languages, and/or statistical/mathematical software
- Work with large and complex data sets to solve challenging problems using different analytical and statistical approaches
- Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and the presentation of data to develop strategies for products
