Data Scientist, Small Business Group

Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta) is seeking a Data Scientist to join its Small Business Group. The successful candidate will take advantage of massive amounts of structured data to understand how customers interact with Meta’s products and services, and proactively identify opportunities to improve the experience of businesses on the Meta family of apps.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• 6 months of experience in Data Science or a related occupation
• Machine Learning techniques
• Relational databases (SQL or PL*SQL)
• Developing in scripting language: PHP, Python, or Perl
• Statistical Analysis using R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, or Stata
• Quantitative analysis techniques
• Communicating and presenting results of data analyses
