Senior Analytics Engineer

They are seeking a Staff Analytics Engineer to join their Data Engineering and Analytics team, focused on data access, actionability, and driving informed decision-making. The role involves partnering with product and engineering teams to create data-driven insights and build large-scale data warehouses.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience with data/analytics engineering
• 7+ years of experience with Python and SQL (preferably Snowflake)
• 5+ years of experience with dbt
• Owned large-scale data projects
• Mentored other stakeholders on data science/analytics
• Led the design and implementation of data warehouses
• Expert at SQL, window functions, STRUCT/ARRAY manipulation, and query optimization
• Promoted performance best practices for tables
• Familiarity with ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes
• Proficiency in tools like dbt, TypeScript, React, Scala, Java, ECPL, Datadog
