They are seeking a Staff Analytics Engineer to join their Data Engineering and Analytics team, focused on data access, actionability, and driving informed decision-making. The role involves partnering with product and engineering teams to create data-driven insights and build large-scale data warehouses.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience with data/analytics engineering
- 7+ years of experience with Python and SQL (preferably Snowflake)
- 5+ years of experience with dbt
- Owned large-scale data projects
- Mentored other stakeholders on data science/analytics
- Led the design and implementation of data warehouses
- Expert at SQL, window functions, STRUCT/ARRAY manipulation, and query optimization
- Promoted performance best practices for tables
- Familiarity with ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes
- Proficiency in tools like dbt, TypeScript, React, Scala, Java, ECPL, Datadog
