Role Overview

Responsible for managing a portfolio to meet financial targets for Corporate clients on Japan Outbound and Inbound businesses. Aligns with Compliance requirements, sector strategies, and broader HSBC strategies. Positions the business based on industry and market developments.

What You Will Do

Work with CIB Coverage and GPS sales teams to identify and develop business opportunities. Maintain and enhance existing revenue streams and develop new revenue streams by adopting a needs-based advisory approach. Build and maintain close relationships with clients and lead end-to-end process for delivering successful responses to client’s RFPs.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience of global cash management techniques, market, competitive environment, trends, and regulatory environment
  • Strong banking knowledge across various product families in payables, receivables, liquidity, corporate cards, and connectivity solutions
  • Experience in managing regional and cross-border mandates
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect at all seniority levels
  • Self-motivated with a growth mind-set
  • Ability to cope with pressure in a fast-growing and fast-moving environment
  • Relationship Management of major client relationships
  • Dealing with customers at senior executive level
  • Fluency in both written and verbal English and Japanese
