CONTENT MARKETING MANAGER

Molecule Software is a dynamic and fast-growing innovator in the commodities trading (CTRM/ETRM) software industry. Our enterprise SaaS product is a market leader in technology, usability, integrations and more. Our employees are distributed across the United States and work remotely; however, we have a preference for candidates who can occasionally come to our head office in Houston.

Molecule is on the lookout for a dynamic and strategic Content Marketing Manager to join our growing Marketing team! You’ll be the driving force behind our content marketing strategy, a key pillar in our growth marketing plans. As the Content Marketing Manager, you’ll lead a Content Specialist and report directly to the VP of Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the strategy for creating diverse new content across our key channels (including search, social, email, and events), including planning, goals, metrics, and project management
• Identify gaps and opportunities in our content ecosystem throughout the buyer’s journey
• Partner with internal and external SMEs to build our thought leadership in the energy and commodity trading space
• Manage our content production process and optimize it for quality and efficiency
• Partner with the VP of Marketing on identifying industry media opportunities for our CEO and building relationships for coverage
• Lead and coach a content specialist

REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of experience in B2B content marketing and strategy, ideally for an early-stage, founder-led SaaS startup
• 1-2 years of experience leading a team
• Solid understanding of content marketing strategy for complex SaaS purchases and buyers’ journeys
• Solid understanding of SEO trends for content creation
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce both long- and short-form content across diverse platforms
• PR/comms and/or journalism background is a plus
• Must be based in the US

• Relevant industry experience – risk management, energy/commodities trading
• Located in San Antonio, Austin, or Houston area with the ability to occasionally work from the office

SALARY RANGE

The total compensation range for this position is $85,000 – 100,000, depending on experience.
