Natixis in Portugal is seeking a Senior GCP Data Engineer to join its BPCE SI team, working in a hybrid model in Porto or Lisbon, to migrate data from SQL Server to GCP and design and develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines on GCP.
Requirements
- Design and execute a data migration strategy from SQL Server to GCP
- Develop and optimize scripts and pipelines for transferring and transforming data into BigQuery
- Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines on GCP using Google Cloud Composer or Apache Airflow
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for BigQuery
- Contribute to the design and implementation of optimized data schemas for BigQuery
- Automate migration tasks and data transformation using Python
- Collaborate with current teams and end-users to understand the existing environment and ensure the new platform meets their expectations
