Data Engineer

New Pig is building out its data team and looking for an entry-level Data Engineer to help turn raw data into reliable, decision-ready systems.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL including queries, stored procedures, functions, and schema design
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
• Familiarity with public cloud data tooling — AWS (Redshift, DynamoDB) and/or GCP (BigQuery)
• Experience designing and implementing relational database schemas with proper documentation
• Familiarity with SQL Server, SSIS, and/or SSRS
• Working knowledge of ETL concepts and data transformation and cleaning techniques across multiple source formats
• Version control experience with Git
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
