The Revenue Operations Manager is responsible for the analysis of sales-related data to increase overall sales productivity and results. This important role will be focused on four key categories, strategy, technology, operations and performance across the sales organization. This individual will collect sales data and evaluate activity, results and performance based on established initiatives. This may include normalizing and reconciling disparate data from different sources. The development and tracking of key performance indicators will be critical to enhancing Gracenote’s analytics and improving its decision-making processes driving revenue growth across sales and vertical targets.

The Revenue Operations Manager will help develop standardized practices, methodologies, tools and business processes aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness while growing revenues.

The individual will support and drive effective and timely development and training of other team members and assist overseeing projects to ensure consistent data collection, reporting and analytics and metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the support contact for guidance, trouble-shooting and problem-solving specific sales, opportunity and forecasting data questions and requests from sales representatives
  • Look at ways of streamlining and automating processes to compile and analyze data from various different sources and systems.
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and cleanliness of Salesforce data and all other system data
  • Act as a key cross-functional liaison between Revenue Operations, Sales, and other departments.
  • Tracks key metrics such as activities, funnel stages, pipeline, bookings, region and product based analytics, deal sizes and close cycles.
  • Performs ad hoc analysis as needed across multiple data sets.
  • Manage dashboards and build visuals so teams can easily understand business health and meet goals.
  • Work closely with leadership and team members on supporting strategic sales initiatives. Support may include development of the program, providing insights, data, metrics and reporting on progress and initiatives updates.
  • Triage and troubleshoot operational issues and optimize processes/infrastructure/systems for scale
  • Ad-hoc projects from executive leadership on an as needed basis
  • Collaborate with leadership on the sales force overall performance, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on Demand Generation and Enablement strategies and execution.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Product, Marketing teams and other stakeholders to share insights and centralize information.
  • Build new hire and onboarding programs to train and enable new hires for the Sales team

Required Skills/ Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience in finance, operations
  • Strong working knowledge of media, automotive, and technology markets, regions, verticals and global sales and revenue drivers is desired
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to provide recommendations with thorough, thoughtful, succinct data
  • Capability to manage, audit and connect disparate data sets
  • Advanced conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to identify, collect and manage data analysis of varying size and scope
  • Strong written / verbal communication & presentation skills; able to convey complex information simply/concisely
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Possess a unique blend of technical, business and people skills with a desire to drive results
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, Google Slides
  • 5+ years of experience with Salesforce.com , SAP
  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar training will enhance candidacy

A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be between $50,000 – $90,000, which would be adjusted based on each employee’s geographic location. The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications and other business requirements/needs.
