Sales Operations Manager
Location: Adelaide, Australia
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end purchase-order process, validating prices and contract terms while acting as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Schedule and monitor all domestic and international shipments, prepare export documentation and liaise with customs and quarantine to guarantee on-time, cost-effective delivery.
- Maintain accurate ERP (SAP,CRM) records for finished goods, spare parts, lining materials and specialised equipment; perform cycle counts, coordinate annual stock takes and trigger replenishments to keep inventory at optimal levels.
- Manage the complete contract lifecycle, drafting, review, approval, execution, filing and compliance tracking; maintain the contract database, monitor milestones and alert stakeholders to upcoming renewals or expiries.
- Work with Finance to issue pro-forma invoices, final invoices and any credit or debit notes; confirm receipt, track payment status with sales together and support cash-collection efforts.
- Supervise administrative staff, oversee office supplies, vendor contracts and facility maintenance, and handle any other administrative tasks assigned by the manager.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply-Chain, Finance or Engineering plus at least three years’ experience in sales operations, logistics or contract administration within manufacturing or infrastructure.
- Advanced user of ERP and CRM systems and Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Incoterms and export compliance preferred.
- Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills with the ability to interface confidently across departments and with external partners.
- Valid Australian work visa or permanent residency and a current driver’s licence.
