Senior – Data Scientist

NorthBay is looking for a highly experienced Data Scientist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of professional experience in data science, with a focus on data processing, visualization, and structuring.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in data science, data engineering, or AI-focused roles.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT-4/5, Claude, Gemini, Llama, or similar).
• Strong background in agentic AI systems and their practical applications in business or technical workflows.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python (data manipulation, API integrations, prompt engineering, and workflow automation).
• Solid understanding of data structuring, processing, and visualization.
• Proven track record of building and deploying data-centric and AI-assisted solutions.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex technical projects.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical outputs into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
