Role Description

The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) invites applications for a Reporting and Analytics Consultant position in the Population Health and Quality Improvement Analytics section. A successful applicant will engage in quality improvement and applied health services research in a project-based, team setting.

  • Provide expertise and support for quality improvement projects
  • Perform technical tasks and contribute to project leadership and administration
  • Complete work independently on highly complex tasks
  • Work on multiple projects at a time with significant project responsibilities

Typical responsibilities may include:

  • Leading highly complex research tasks or projects as a co-PI or PI, as needed
  • Independently determining the method(s) for completion of new projects
  • Developing new practices, processes, metrics or models, and providing solutions
  • Applying developed subject matter and methodological knowledge
  • Providing guidance to research project and project sponsor colleagues
  • Conveying difficult, complex or sensitive information
  • Facilitating productive dialogue among project stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent is required
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree in a relevant field of study is required
  • Demonstrated usage of R, SAS, or Stata for data analysis is required

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a background check is required
  • Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen
