Oportun is a mission-driven financial services company that seeks an experienced marketing analyst to drive performance marketing for its Personal Loans product, focusing on the returning member segment and website analytics. The role involves analyzing complex data ecosystems, building dashboards, and identifying low-risk segments with strong growth potential and actionable insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of experience in an analytical or data-driven role (financial services, fintech, or consulting preferred)
- Proven experience analyzing and optimizing marketing performance across channels
- Strong SQL skills (any variant); experience with Databricks required; Python or R preferred
- Expertise in data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Birst or Power BI
- Experience in Amplitude is a plus
- Skilled in data storytelling to drive business decisions among technical and non-technical audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
