The Director of Marketing Communications is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining strategic marketing communications to develop OU Health champions and bring to life the Employee Value Proposition internally and externally.
Requirements
- Provide leadership on the development and distribution of written, oral and electronic communication to deliver key messages to internal stakeholders.
- Strongly partner and collaborate with Human Resources to execute strategic and inspirational employee and leadership communications.
- Direct and manage digital marketing strategy for non-clinical initiatives.
- Independently develop and manage relationships across the health system at all levels of leadership and team to execute on effective internal communications plans.
- Lead the generation of significant internal storytelling to build understanding, buy-in, and ambassadorship in the strategic direction of OU Health.
- Develop, manage, and execute internal marketing campaigns to create awareness and understanding about the system.
- Manage issues/crises internally to protect and enhance the healthcare enterprise’s reputation among key stakeholders while coordinating and connecting communications across media relations and digital media (employees, leaders, board).
- Partner with the Chief Marketing and Growth Officer and departmental leaders to develop and manage the implementation of CEO communications.
- Develop, direct, and manage an innovative and aggressive internal communications channel strategy.
- Oversee the use of style guides and brand standard references for all communications.
- Develop, oversee, and execute 24/7 call coverage for internal communications.
- Ensure timely reporting of metrics demonstrating effectiveness and ongoing management of internal campaigns.
