Data Scientist

We are looking to hire a Data Scientist who will be focused on how we invite people to join our study. The role will involve forecasting, planning, and scheduling multi-channel invitation sends, as well as modelling population reach and invite capacity for new clinic locations.

Requirements

  • Experience using Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
  • Proficient SQL skills and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and familiarity with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or Omni.
  • Background in demand forecasting, capacity planning, or campaign scheduling.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with a daily operational cadence.
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication, including leading cross-team meetings.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and rigorous data-validation habits.
  • Experience with geospatial analysis (e.g., PostGIS, GeoPandas, QGIS) would be helpful but not essential.
  • Exposure to healthcare, clinical trials, or participant recruitment environments would be helpful but not essential.
  • Understanding of behavioural science principles in communications would be helpful but not essential.
  • Experience building automated pipelines or workflow tools would be helpful but not essential.
