Growth Lead

As Growth Lead for the Cybersecurity portfolio, your primary objective will be driving product growth and visibility within cybersecurity communities through developer relations (DevRel) marketing and targeted direct marketing initiatives. Reporting directly to the Cybersecurity Portfolio Director, you’ll leverage strategic outreach to secure product visibility, endorsements, and drive measurable user acquisition and engagement.

Responsibilities & Expected Outcomes

Community Outreach & Relationship Building

Engage actively with cybersecurity communities, forums, and influencers to increase awareness, trust, and credibility of our cybersecurity books and resources.

Expected outcome: Demonstrable growth in community presence and interactions.

Amazon Reviews & Ratings

Initiate and manage campaigns to secure consistent, positive Amazon reviews and ratings from influential cybersecurity professionals and users.

Expected outcome: Increased product ratings, leading to improved Amazon discoverability and sales.

Expert Endorsements

Cultivate relationships with cybersecurity influencers and experts to secure authoritative endorsements.

Expected outcome: Regular flow of testimonials and endorsements used effectively in marketing materials.

Email Marketing & List Growth

Execute email marketing campaigns targeted at cybersecurity audiences to drive user engagement and direct sales.

Expected outcome: Steady growth in subscriber list size and measurable improvement in campaign-driven conversions.

Website Conversion Optimization

Monitor, analyze, and optimize landing pages and product pages specific to cybersecurity to maximize visitor conversion rates.

Expected outcome: Increased conversion rates from site visitors to customers.

Team Structure

  • Reports directly to the Cybersecurity Portfolio Director.
  • Collaborates closely with product management functions and content teams.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record (3+ years) in growth or devrel marketing, ideally within cybersecurity or tech publishing.
  • Expertise in influencer outreach, Amazon marketing strategies, and community engagement.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience optimizing email campaigns and onsite conversion.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, particularly within technical communities.

The Growth Lead role offers significant autonomy to directly influence the growth trajectory of our cybersecurity vertical through strategic outreach and precise marketing execution.
