What You’ll Do

This position is responsible for increasing the volume and velocity of PIDSA CD component sales through strategic distributor(s) resulting in above profitable sales growth.

  • Increase sales revenue (volume and velocity) at assigned distributors
    • Manage product mix
    • Manage efficient inventory levels
    • Manage SCM
  • Comprehensive distribution account management
    • Corporate HQ and all branch
  • Manage, Maintain, Control the Distributor
    • Analytical analysis of Market, Competitor, DTAM, POS, POA, Price, Inventory, etc
      • Product level analysis
      • Branch level analysis
    • Manage distributor promotions programs and special product incentive plans
    • Manage all Panasonic staff activities at distribution sites
  • Coordinate with Regional Sales Manager to support of goals above
  • Increase customer satisfaction
  • Forecasting
    • FY budget and MTP
    • Accurate PSI, FLASH
  • CRM Reporting
    • Work with sales to follow up on specific focus opportunities
  • Marcom / COOP
    • Work with marketing to create an annual plan/schedule
  • Financial
    • Assure collection ratio in line with PIC goals
    • Minimize credit losses
    • Minimize inventory losses
    • Maximize profits

What You’ll Bring

Education & Experience:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in electronic components
  • Strong sales discipline and negotiation capabilities
  • Experience managing through outside sales channels (distributor/rep)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Trend and systematic analysis
  • Strong project management skills
  • Capable of managing large distributor

The wage range of $100,000 – $145,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
