Role Overview

As a Sales Engineer at Pepperl+Fuchs, you will be a key technical and commercial point of contact for customers, driving sales growth of our innovative industrial sensor and intrinsic safety solutions.

What You Will Do

Act as a primary technical sales contact for customers, conduct in-depth technical discussions, provide expert guidance on product offerings, prepare and deliver technical presentations, and develop and present comprehensive proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in technical sales or applications engineering within industrial automation, process control, or hazardous area industries
  • Strong understanding of industrial sensors, intrinsic safety principles, explosion protection, and fieldbus technologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish strong customer relationships
  • Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory
  • Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills relevant to the market are a plus
