We currently have a career opportunity for a Key Account Director to join our team located in St. Louis, Missouri.

The Key Account Director is a senior leadership position with the skills and experience to lead our largest, most strategic accounts while also serving as a key participant in the leadership of the local business unit. This individual will have overall responsibility for the strategic leadership of enterprise client engagements from a delivery perspective and work closely with Sales Executives for ongoing client development and relationship management activities.

Responsibilities

Delivery Execution

  • Oversees all delivery of services across an enterprise account
  • Drives adoption of delivery excellence practices and continuous maturity
  • Ensures high customer satisfaction and partnership
  • Shapes the account team organization & structure to produce high customer satisfaction and scale for growth
  • Ensures timeliness and accuracy of account financial operations (backlog, forecast, time/expenses, invoicing, and receivables)
  • Achieves account delivered revenue and profitability targets

Consulting Skills / Solution Design

  • Understands the unique business and technical challenges of the client organization to ensure contextual communications and offers of help
  • Partners with sales and delivery team members to proactively design, craft and communicate solution offerings

Account Strategy

  • Collaborates across Perficient business units to develop, update, communicate and implement the account vision & strategic plan
  • Builds a high-performing account team capable of producing high customer satisfaction and scale for growth
  • Coordinates with the Perficient executive sponsor and other leaders to drive C-level relationships and larger offerings

 Account Growth

  • Grows account sales bookings and revenue by executing upon the account strategy and bringing proactive offerings to clients
  • Diversifies the types of offers (portfolio) sold by partnering with multiple business units across Perficient
  • Diversifies Perficient’s business footprint across multiple departments and/or divisions within the customer organization
  • Partners with Perficient sellers, strategists, SMEs and business unit leaders to bring proactive offerings to clients

Leadership & Development of Talent

  • Leads with a posture of ambition and passion for the future
  • Sets the overall tone/mood of the account (enthusiasm, commitment, professionalism, resilience, etc.)
  • Enables and coaches account team members
  • Works both on self-development and developing others as well

Client / Team Relationship

  • Establishes and nurtures strong client relationships up/down/across the client organization
  • Expands the Perficient portfolio to ensure continuous growth and diversification of business.
  • Leverages Perficient partnerships (Adobe, Salesforce, Google, MSFT, etc.) to expand and diversify footprint of business within client account

Qualifications

  • Typically has 10-15+ years of business experience in one or more disciplines (Program Management, Solution Architecture, Account Management)
  • Capable of leading a global account team with annual revenue of $20M-$30M+
  • Proven track record of producing year-over-year account growth
  • Ability to establish an account strategy and produce proactive offerings
  • History of building skills in the areas of delivery excellence, account operations, account strategy, relationships, sales, and overall account leadership
  • Ability to work collaboratively to build high functioning account team
  • Strong consulting and communication skills
  • High level of career ambition
