Job Description

We are a 45 year old company manufacturing notebooks, that is looking to hire a head of sales operations for all 3 verticals – distribution channel, wholesale channel, urban retail channel.

Our first main goal is to promote penetrate and establish a new brand called Popular in all verticals and along with that we want to strengthen existing area sales by consistent approach of shops and monitoring the target oriented sale.

Our second main goal is to establish ourselves in markets where we were not present (virgin markets), starting first in bengal and then going to neighbouring states.

PLEASE GO THROUGH THE KEY JOB ROLE METICULOUSLY

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly Drive market placement of newly developed products across all sales verticals and virgin markets. this is the core work requirement, not running an existing set up.
  • Identify and break into new geographical markets where the company currently has no presence—developing both wholesale and retail distribution from scratch.
  • Operate with an activity-first approach, not driven by sales targets alone.
  • In existing strong markets, ensure firm execution of new product placements, even in the face of distributor resistance.
  • Be physically present on the ground, managing and directing all sales activity firsthand.
  • Discovery of REAL ON GROUND PROBLEMS faced while doing the above.
  • Post discovery of such problems, coming to solutions via discussions with senior management.
  • Taking on full charge of the EXECUTION of such solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80,000.00 – ₹100,000.00 per month
