About the Role: As the Director of Revenue Operations, you will oversee and optimize the day-to-day operational functioning across the Plooto go-to-market domains, from supporting the execution of our strategic plan to finding ways to improve the efficiency of our people and processes. This role is critical to ensuring alignment between our sales, growth marketing, partnerships, and customer success teams to drive revenue growth, enhance operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, data analysis, and a deep understanding of revenue generation processes.

What You’ll Do

With a deep understanding of Revenue Operations, you will be involved in standing up and running Plooto’s Revenue Operations function, including:

Strategy & Planning

  • Support developing and implementing a comprehensive revenue operations strategy to support Plooto’s revenue ecosystem.
  • Align revenue operations with overall business goals and collaborate with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives.
  • Owns the entire revenue forecasting process.
  • Drive complex cross-functional RevOps efforts for the company, including long-range planning and owning the internal alignment of GTM strategy with other departments (i.e. Product, Finance, Engineering, People, etc.).

GTM Operational Support:

  • Be a trusted “behind the scenes” partner for all the organization’s GTM teams, establishing and managing the sales enablement process, tools, technologies, and assets needed to support the Revenue teams in achieving their targets.
  • Support the continual refinement of sales-related targets, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, quota setting, and compensation and incentive structure (i.e., plan elements, attainment criteria, base/variable, etc.).
  • Own the creation, tracking, and operational rigour around Revenue OKRs.
  • Support the day-to-day operations of all Revenue Teams (i.e., Growth Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success).

Process Optimization:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline revenue operations and eliminate inefficiencies.
  • Drive adoption of best-in-class tools and technologies to support revenue operations and drive Revenue team productivity.

Revenue Enablement:

  • Implement and optimize the CRM systems to track customer interactions and sales activities.
  • Working with the Business Insights & Analytics team, develop and maintain a robust analytics framework to track and analyze key revenue metrics.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive revenue growth.
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards for executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing education to sales teams on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies.

Your Background

You’ve been integral to fast-growing, high-performing tech companies throughout your career. You have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations or Revenue Operations at a technology/SaaS company.
  • Experience developing and executing integrated operational strategies to support an organization’s full revenue ecosystem.
  • A strong understanding of recurring revenue models, enterprise technology business models and go-to-market strategies.
  • Experience leading revenue ecosystems of at least $10M+.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and interpret complex data to drive operational improvements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
