Associate Data Engineer

This role involves working as a data engineer on big data systems that serve billions of events every day, with the goal of understanding, meeting, and anticipating customer needs. The successful candidate will participate in cloud migration and modernization, support data systems, and collaborate on building software for data collection and query purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• 2 years of Data Engineering experience using Python
• Experience in writing and analyzing SQL constructs
• Basic knowledge of Big Data solutions such as Hadoop, Spark
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools – Tableau and VisualCron
• Experienced with strategies such as indexing, machine-learned rankings, clustering, and distributed concepts
• Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust
• Unquestionable integrity and ethics
