Senior Underwriting Innovation and Risk Data Analyst

As a Senior Underwriting Innovation and Risk Data Analyst, you will lead advanced underwriting research and analytics to improve risk segmentation, underwriting performance, and strategic decision making across life insurance operations. You will partner closely with underwriting, actuarial, claims, and R&D teams to evaluate new data sources, develop and validate predictive models, and translate complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations.

Requirements

• Research and evaluate internal and external data sources to enhance underwriting risk assessment and segmentation
• Support the development, testing, and validation of predictive underwriting models and tools
• Conduct mortality, morbidity, experience, and A/E studies to assess underwriting methodologies and outcomes
• Perform cost‐benefit, validation, and impact analyses related to underwriting rules, requirements, and workflows
• Translate complex statistical, actuarial, and analytical results into clear, strategic recommendations
• Identify underwriting practices impacting mortality experience and recommend improvements
• Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and executive‐level presentations tracking underwriting performance and model results
• Lead cross‐functional analytic projects aligned with R&D and underwriting innovation initiatives
• Regularly present insights and findings to senior leadership and key stakeholders
