We are recruiting a commercial Marketing Manager to support and lead a portion of our Product Marketing team in Canada. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing – North America, this individual will be responsible for managing part of the Product Management group while providing strategic guidance and oversight.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years previous commercial and product management experience in the Food industry, specifically in the ingredients sector
- Minimum 5 years leadership experience managing direct reports, with a proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor a team of commercially focused individuals toward achieving strategic goals
- Proven experience in product management/principal management
- Proven experience in market analysis and development of marketing plans and strategies
- Skilled in data analysis, reporting and presentation development
- Demonstrated expertise in pricing strategy and price list management
- Experience developing effective purchasing and sourcing strategies
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong business acumen and understanding of profitability drivers
- Communication proficiency in French and English (oral and written bilingualism) is a strong asset
- Enthusiastic about contributing to a high-performance culture and accustomed to a fast-paced environment
- Advanced computer literacy, including Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and proficiency with the Office 365 suite
- Willingness to travel overnight, up to 40% of the time (including overnight stay and international travel)
